Born in 1981 in a small village in the Solapur district of Maharashtra, Sachin Sagare is a contemporary artist whose work takes viewers on a journey through the multifaceted world inhabited by women. Growing up in a rural setting, Sachin was deeply inspired by the strong, hardworking women he encountered in his village. These women became the central theme of his art, with his paintings serving as a tribute to their resilience, strength, and grace.

Sachin’s formal education in art began at the Dalvis Art Institute in Kohlapur, where he earned a Diploma in Drawing and Painting in 2001. He then pursued further studies in Pune, completing a Diploma in Applied Arts from Abhinav Chitrakala Mahavidyalaya in 2004. After relocating to Mumbai in 2005, Sachin worked in the film industry as a storyboarding artist and assistant director, gaining valuable experience. However, his true passion always lay in painting, and in 2011, he made the bold decision to leave the film industry and focus on his career as a full-time artist.

Sachin's works often reflect his deep admiration for the women in his life, capturing the strength, beauty, and complexity of the female experience. His art is a powerful celebration of the roles that women play in society, particularly in rural settings, where their labor and dedication often go unnoticed. Through his unique artistic vision, Sachin Sagare continues to explore themes of identity, resilience, and the dynamic force of women in both traditional and contemporary contexts.

Purnendu Mandal (born 1980) is an accomplished Indian Contemporary Artist based in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. With over 29 solo exhibitions, 69 group shows, and 22 international exhibitions, his work has been featured in renowned galleries across India and abroad. A graduate of the Government College of Art & Craft, Calcutta University (2003), Purnendu has also participated in 19 national and international art camps and workshops. His art spans various styles, including semi-realistic, abstract, and impressionistic, with a focus on urban landscapes, city life, and religious symbolism. He has introduced Nandi, the sacred bull, and Banaras Ghats as prominent motifs in his recent works, bringing a contemporary twist to these age-old symbols. His paintings are in private collections worldwide, including in USA, UK, UAE, Australia, Italy, and Taiwan, among others.

Purnendu’s creations are known for their compositional skill and command over oil and acrylic paints. His work on Nandi, the sacred bull, explores its spiritual significance as the protector of Lord Shiva, incorporating motifs like bells, conches, tridents, and damru to enhance the religious narrative. His abstract representations of Benaras Ghats and the holy chanting evoke the sacred atmosphere of the riverbanks and temples, blending the traditional with modern expressions of religious sanctity. Additionally, Purnendu’s cityscapes from Mumbai, Kolkata, and Delhi offer a vivid portrayal of urban life and its struggles. 

Mrs. Punam Agarwal (born 23rd February 1970) is a distinguished contemporary artist based in Mumbai, known for her vibrant and evocative paintings that delve into themes of personal transformation, spirituality, and the interconnectedness of the self with the universe. A graduate of HR College, Mumbai, Punam has also completed a Child Education course from Sophia College. Over her illustrious career, she has held numerous solo exhibitions in prestigious venues such as the Jehangir Art Gallery, Museum Gallery, and Leela Art Gallery in Mumbai, as well as in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Delhi. Her work has been showcased internationally in cities like London, Dubai, and Frankfurt, with notable participations in events like Art Miami Spectrum, Affordable Art Fair Singapore, and India Art Festival. Punam's art reflects a profound engagement with self-reflection, healing, and the pursuit of inner harmony, often using vivid color palettes and abstract forms to express her exploration of inner and outer worlds. In addition to her exhibitions, she has contributed to the art community as a jury member for the Ministry of Power’s State Level Painting Competition in 2012. Reba Mandal, born on 29th November 1985 in Malda District, West Bengal, is a contemporary visual artist celebrated for her vivid, spiritually rich works that explore themes of nature, spirituality, and cultural heritage. After completing her art education in Kolkata, she went on to showcase her art in 8 solo exhibitions in cities like Mumbai, Kolkata, and Bangalore, as well as international venues in Taipei, Dubai, and Singapore. Reba’s primary focus is on the sacred and dynamic landscapes of Banaras Ghats, Ganga Ghats, and symbols like Nandi, which she depicts through an inimitable style that reflects both the serenity and spiritual vibrancy of these places. Her paintings, created with acrylics and oils, often convey the sacredness of daily rituals, the architectural beauty of temples, and the transcendent energy of the Ganga River. Reba has received several prestigious awards, including National Gold Medals and International Gold Medals, and her works are part of collections across India, USA, UK, Taiwan, and Dubai. Currently based in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh, she continues to work as a freelance artist, creating art that celebrates the divine and spiritual essence of Indian culture.

Nawal Kishore is a highly skilled and accomplished Indian contemporary artist, based in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. He holds a B.F.A. (Topper) and M.F.A. in Painting from the prestigious College of Arts, Lucknow University (2000, 2003). With over two decades of professional experience, Nawal has participated in numerous exhibitions, including 29 solo shows and 69 group shows, with his works being displayed in renowned galleries across India and internationally. His art spans various mediums and styles, from traditional to contemporary, with a particular focus on watercolor, portraiture, and the exploration of spiritual and social themes.

Nawal’s most recent solo exhibitions include "The Aesthetic View" at Gallery The Art Route in Gurugram (2023), "Shakti" (2022), and "The Colours" (2022), while his group shows include "One World, One Earth" at the Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai (2023) and the 100 Eminent International Artists Art Show in New Delhi (2024). His work has also been featured in important art fairs, such as the India Art Festival and Art Bangalore, and he has been part of many national and international art camps.

Sabir Sardar, born Mukhtar Ahmed Sardar, is a self-taught contemporary artist from Mumbai’s slums whose abstract works have earned him international acclaim. His journey from the hardships of slum life to global art galleries is an inspiring testament to the transformative power of art. With a distinctive ability to find beauty in the chaos of everyday life, his works reflect a raw, unfiltered perspective of the world around him. His art, which embodies the randomness and vibrancy of daily existence, has been showcased in prestigious galleries across India, the US, and the UK.

Recently, Sabir Sardar visited Hyderabad for the first time to attend his exhibition at the State Art Gallery, Madhapur. The exhibition, titled "Pause and Reflect", opened on 1 September and has garnered a positive response despite the rainy weather. Sardar admits that initially, he was unsure if Hyderabadi audiences, who generally favor more figurative art, would appreciate his abstract creations. However, the overwhelming response from visitors has delighted him, proving that art transcends boundaries and resonates deeply with diverse audiences. His story is not just one of artistic achievement, but also of perseverance, self-belief, and the ability to transform adversity into opportunity.
